Update On Mail-In Renewals

Important information IF YOU USPS-MAILED IN YOUR RENEWAL.

We moved all Registrar operations to Dallas and we moved our mailing address at the same time.

Our new mailing address is:

If you are electing to renew by mail and you have not yet mailed your renewal form and your check, please use the new mailing address shown above.

Since we launched online renewals on April 25th, about 80% of all 2022 renewals have been processed online via self-service. The remaining 20% were mailed in and the majority of the mail-ins used the new mailing address shown above.

However, if you mailed your renewal form and payment check to the old mailing address in Pearland, Texas, don't worry yet; you are likely okay.

Upon our move to Dallas, we filed a permanent change-of-address notice with the USPS to be effective April 19, 2021. The automatic forwarding order has been confirmed by the USPS and will forward all mail sent to the old address for a year, ending on April 19, 2022.

Until then, any mail sent to the old address should be automatically forwarded to the new address in Dallas, albeit with an additional USPS delay.

Also, a Pate Director physically retrieved all mail that had arrived at the old address in Pearland, Texas, until just after the swap meet and overnighted all of the mail received at the old P.O. Box to our office in Dallas for processing. All USPS mail arriving at the old address after that date should be automatically forward by the USPS. While it may add a bit of time to the delivery, we should receive it.

If you sent your renewal to the old mailing address and something unfortunate happened to it, we have time to fix the situation resulting from any lost mail before the June 1 deadline.

How To Confirm If We Received Your Mail-in Renewal

Every day, as soon as we collect the arriving USPS mail, we enter all newly-arriving renewals into the system. Upon completion of the transaction, the PateOnline system will instantly send you an itemized e-mail receipt of the renewal order so you will know that we received and processed your mail.

As I am writing this message, all incoming USPS mail that we have received to date has been processed.

If you haven't received an email receipt for your renewal, you can proactively check on your spaces online. Your Pate Vendor Spaces will show in one of two places; (1) the already renewed list; and (2) the pending renewal list.

Your spaces that are already renewed will show up on your "My Spaces" report. See your report by clicking the button below.

My Spaces with Map Report - Login Required

If all of your spaces are listed on this report, you are fully renewed and good to go. No further action is required on your part. Also, you will see your completed renewal order in the "Order History" section at the bottom of your "My Account" page at https://pateswapmeet.com/my-account

If you show no spaces on the report above (and no processed order in your Order History), it means we have not yet received your renewal in the mail and therefore no renewal order has been processed. Therefore, your spaces will show up as still awaiting (pending) renewal.

Pending Renewals - Login Required

If your spaces still show on your pending-renewals page and you mailed your USPS mail-in renewal some time ago, it indicates that there is a problem that should be addressed.

Both pages at the links above are updated in real-time and are accurate to the moment they are viewed or refreshed.

If Your Inbound USPS Mail Is Missing

As we approach the June 1 renewal deadline, please consider renewing online or over the phone with a credit card or debit card. Once your spaces are renewed online, you can then stop payment on your missing check.

If we receive your mail-in renewal and check later, after your online renewal, we will readily discover the duplicate and let you know.

It only takes a few minutes to complete an online renewal and produce instant results. The process also produces an immediate receipt that will be sent to you via e-mail to document the transaction. It completely removes any risk of your renewal being lost in the mail stream or misdelivered.

As stated above, since online renewals first launched on April 25th, over 80% of all Pate Vendor Space renewals for 2022 have been performed online because of their ease, efficiency and safety.

To renew your spaces online, click on the button below and log into your Pate Vendor User Account. Click the green button shown on the Renew page to add your spaces to a Shopping Cart and then check out with a credit card or debit card.

Alternatively, you can also see your spaces in their context in the interactive Space Selector map of our traditional west side venue. Once logged in, the page at the button below will show your spaces for renewal with red bounding boxes around all of them. The map will initially show the full venue for context but you can zoom and pan the map as desired. When ready, click the green button (in the upper right-hand corner of the page) to move your spaces into a Shopping Cart for Checkout.

Be sure to log into your Pate Vendor User Account to do your renewals. If you set up multiple accounts in PateOnline at some time in the past, your Pate Vendors Spaces will only be registered into your one Pate Vendor Account; use that account only. Your other secondary accounts will NOT show your Vendor Spaces for renewal. If you need us to clean up multiple accounts to prevent confusion or do other user account maintenance, please use the "Contact Us" form on the website or use the "Contact Us" button below.

You can log in with the e-mail address that you registered with your Pate Vendor User Account and your secret password.

If you have forgotten your password, simply click on the "Forgot Password?" link in the lower right corner of the log-in menu. The system will reset your password and immediately send you instructions to your registered e-mail address. Just follow the instructions in the e-mail. Resetting your password only takes a minute. If you don't receive your e-mail right away, please check your SPAM folder.

Using either view you wish, using either of the two buttons above (list view or map view), simply click on the green button on either page to add your spaces to a Shopping Cart. Once in the Shopping Cart, you can add a personal private toilet to your Shopping Cart if you wish. Then, when ready to pay, proceed to Checkout to use a credit card or debit card.

After you have successfully renewed your Vendor Spaces for 2022, you will immediately get an itemized on-screen receipt for your renewal (you can print it out if desired) as well as one that will be e-mailed to you. Also, your "My Spaces" report (available on your "My Account" page) will be instantly updated after the transaction. Your completed order will also be seen in the "Order History" section at the bottom of your "My Account" page.

The whole online renewal process only takes a couple of minutes to complete.

You can also renew over the phone with a credit card or debit card. Simply give us a call at (817) 608-7293 between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm Central time.

An agent will perform your renewal and an itemized receipt will be e-mailed to you as confirmation.

Please note that the phones have been very busy since the 2021 Swap Meet, particularly in the morning. You may have to leave a message for a callback. However, we endeavor to return all calls as quickly as possible. If you leave a voicemail message, it WILL be returned.

Renewals Are Due By June 1

Renewals are due by June 1, 2021, but we do allow a two-week grace period to receive and renewals still working their way through the mail stream.

Adding Spaces To Your Set

We're going to try something a little different this year as a "thank-you" to our faithful Pate Vendors.

At 12:01 am June 15, 2021, we're going to place all un-renewed Vendor Spaces up for sale to only valid Pate 2022 Vendors who have already renewed their spaces for 2022.

We're calling this our "First Call Sale."

The First Call Sale will be open only to Pate vendors who have renewed their spaces for the 2022 edition of the Pate Swap Meet that will be held in our traditional west-side vendue of Texas Motor Speedway. The First Call Sale will last one full week.

Our prices will remain the same as usual during this "Sale" but our renewing Pate Vendors will have special shopping privileges for seven days before we open remaining non-renewing Vendor Space sales to the public.

Before the general public gets to shop for Vendor Spaces in an unrestricted fashion, all Pate Vendors who have renewed their Vendor Spaces for 2022 will have a small window to add new spaces to their Vendor Space footprint.

This special First Call Sale will allow our existing Pate Vendors far better chances of buying adjoining spaces and expanding their contiguous footprint in the swap meet. 

During this period, eligible Pate Vendors may purchase additional Vendor Spaces online 24x7 using self-service or over the phone with agent assistance during regular business hours Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

To buy spaces during the First Call Sale using online self-service, simply go to our online real-time Space Selector, select all of the spaces you wish to add, add them to a Shopping Cart and check out with a credit card or debit card. Our system will automatically add the new spaces to your account. It is easy and painless.

Until June 15th, we will send regular reminders to you to (1) renew your spaces for 2022, and (2) the details on the First Call Sale.

After the special seven-day First Call Sale, at 12:01 am on June 22, 2021, all unsold "Open" Vendor Spaces will be made available for unrestricted sales to everyone, including the general public.

To take advantage of the special Pate Vendor sales period, you must have already renewed your Pate Vendor Spaces for 2022.

So, renew early to not only protect your existing Vendor Spaces but also gain access to this special First Call Sale.
