Vendor Spaces
Pate Vendors' Operational Rules
Vendor spaces can be purchased from the registrar at the swap-meet. As with any large gathering, we have put in place regulations to help make this a safe and successful event. Acceptance of space constitutes your agreement to abide by the rules outlined below. Please read these rules completely before purchasing a car corral space.
Windshield Stickers

A color-coded sticker with your space number must be affixed to the inside of the windshield on the driver's side. Please place below the sun tinting so sticker can read from the outside. You will not be admitted if the sticker is not in place. Your sticker is good for admittance into ONE swap meet zone. Every vehicle parked in a space within the swap meet or car corral must have a sticker.
Illegally Parked Vehicles

Parking on streets inside the meet area is permitted for loading and unloading only. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense. Vehicles or other items left in an unauthorized space will be removed at owner's expense. Free vendor parking is provided in the lot north of the fenced-in area of the swap meet and to the area west of the spaces in Zone 0.
Speed Limit

The speed limit is 5 miles per hour and it will be enforced. Riding around in the swap meet areas can result in expulsion from the swap meet.
Speeding is often a result of poor planning and not being familiar with swap meet policies. To help you plan better and stay within the speed limit requirements, be sure to read about driving hours, authorized and unauthorized vehicles, vendor hours of admittance, and late arrival polices on this page and on the Car Corral page.
Swap Meet Spaces

Vendors must vacate their spaces by 1:00 p.m. Sunday. All parts left unattended after 1:00 p.m. Sunday are subject to removal by cleanup crews.
Driving Hours

Driving within the swap meet area is limited from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Driving will NOT be allowed during the hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Unauthorized Vehicles

Unauthorized vehicles during swap meet hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. are: mini-bikes, skateboards, inline skates, private motorized carts, lawn tractors, lawn mowers, personal 2 wheel scooters, motor bikes, motorcycles, powered or non-powered bicycles, 3 or 4 wheel all terrain vehicles (ATV's), electric or gas powered golf carts, or any other motorized transportation of any type other than the exceptions noted in Handicapped Access.
Vendor Hours of Admittance

Pre-registered vendors will be admitted from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hours of admittance Thursday, Friday and Saturday are 7:00 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Electric mobility units (three or four wheeled, freestanding, electric scooters that are authorized by the federal government for access in public buildings) may be used at anytime inside the swap meet by any individuals who need this mode of transportation.
Handicapped Transportation

Handicapped transportation is limited to wheel chairs, 3 or 4-wheel electric scooters and electrical power chairs.
Use of such a vehicle must be limited to the authorized person only; no riders please.
Scooters and wheelchairs may be rented on-site from Event Scooters.
Quiet Hours

To prevent noise during the late night sleeping hours, absolutely no vehicle traffic will be allowed to move within the meet area between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. The gates will be closed to keep traffic from going in or out during these hours, and security guards will be on duty.
Staking of Tents or Canopies

No stakes shall be driven into the asphalt surface anywhere on Texas Motor Speedway grounds. Weights should be used to anchor tents or awnings on black top or concrete. Violators will be fined or removed from the grounds by Texas Motor Speedway security.
