Location of Car Corral
The Pate Swap Meet sponsoring clubs welcome you to our Car Corral. We are glad to have you join us at the Texas Motor Speedway. The Car Corral is located between the main swap meet area and the TMS grandstand on the east side (track side) of Lone Star Circle with entrance opposite the Gate 4 entrance into the swap meet in the west side parking lot. The Car Corral is open from Wednesday, April 24, 2024 through Saturday April 28, 2024. As with any large gathering, we to have a few rules we expect everyone to abide by to help make this a safe and successful event. If Car Corral participants want to shop in the swap meet area, it is suggested they read the “Shoppers Information and Rules” to understand the rules associated with that activity.
Purchasing Car Corral Spaces
Sellers may prepurchase their Car Corral spaces off of the Pate Swap Meet web site. Sellers who plan to purchase their spaces on site or who need to pick up their already purchased Car Corral space package need to stop first at Pate Registration. Pate Registration is located on the east side of the track (midway along the backstretch of the main track) off of Lone Star Circle. Lone Star Circle is a one-way street running counterclockwise around the main track, so it would be easier going to Registration by exiting onto the Texas Motor Speedway off of Highway 114.
Car Corral Vehicles
The Car Corral is for running, operational road vehicles only. No parts or miscellaneous items and no oversized vehicles like motor homes, R.V’s or buses. Vehicles must be driven into and out of the Car Corral. Trailers or car haulers are only permitted in the staging area north of the Car Corral. Trailers and car haulers are to be removed from the staging area after unloading. Trailers and car haulers can be parked in the Vendors Trailer parking lot north of the swap meet on the west side of Lone Star Circle.
Windshield Stickers
The Car Corral windshield stickers must be filled out and displayed on the upper right inside corner of the windshield of the vehicle driven into the Car Corral. You will not be admitted until this is done. Space selection within the Car Corral is on a first come-first served basis. Windshield stickers may not be transferred to another vehicle. All replacement stickers will be reissued at full face value.
Hours of Operation
Vehicles may enter the Car Corral between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. except Wednesday, when vehicles will be admitted starting at 8:00 a.m. The owner is responsible for their vehicle at all times. This includes the hours between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. when vehicles may be viewed and overnight between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. All Car Corral vehicles must be removed before 7:00 p.m. Saturday Night. Pop up tents are allowed during daylight hours only and tents must be removed at night. You may take your vehicle out each night before the gates close.
Acceptance of rules
Acceptance of a space constitutes your agreement to abide by our rules. Neither the Pate Swap Meet G.P. nor the Texas Motor Speedway will be responsible for damages, injuries or accidents during the swap meet. The Pate Swap Meet and the Texas Motor Speedway officials reserve the right to refuse service to and/or eject any person or firm they deem as undesirable for any reason. The directors’/officials’ actions and decisions are final.
